Teffer’s notable piece, “Food as Famous Folks Like It,” is a fiber sculpture that creatively engages with local historical ephemera. This work was inspired by a pamphlet featuring recipes by artists such as Peter Hunt, Mary Hackett, and Ross Moffett, which was published by the Church of St. Mary of the Harbor in the 1940s. The pamphlet caught her attention at a book sale, leading her to create a sculpture that reflects not only her artistic vision but also pays homage to the community’s artistic legacy.
